European International Business Academy (EIBA)

  • The aim of EIBA is to serve as the core com­mu­ni­ca­tion net­work for dis­sem­i­nat­ing infor­ma­tion and pro­mot­ing inter­na­tional exchange in the field of Inter­na­tional Busi­ness. Mem­ber­ship is open to indi­vid­u­als from Europe and else­where. At present, the Acad­emy has more than 400 mem­bers from over 45 dif­fer­ent coun­tries rep­re­sent­ing all five continents.

    EIBA organ­ises an Annual Con­fer­ence, which is hosted each year by a major Euro­pean uni­ver­sity (usu­ally in early to mid-​December). As a pre-​conference activ­ity, a Doc­toral Tuto­r­ial for PhD stu­dents is organ­ised at the same event!

    A series of pres­ti­gious awards is pre­sented dur­ing the EIBA Annual Con­fer­ence, such as the Gun­nar Hed­lund Award for best doc­toral dis­ser­ta­tion, the Copen­hagen Prize for the best paper writ­ten by a young scholar in Inter­na­tional Busi­ness, the IMR Inter­na­tional Mar­ket­ing Award, the IJoEM Best Paper on Emerg­ing Mar­kets Award, the IBR Best Paper of the Year Award, the Best The­sis Doc­toral Award, the EIBA Fel­lows Research Award, and the Dis­tin­guished EIBA Hon­orary Fel­lows Award.
