The Forschungsseminar Radein e.V. in collaboration with the journal Kredit und Kapital is inviting submissions of papers for an academic conference on issues related to recent developments in the international financial architecture in the aftermath of the financial and sovereign debt crisis. The conference will be held on 10 - 17 February 2013 in Radein/South Tyrol. It is divided into two parts. The main conference covers 9 - 11 papers with discussants. An additional free part of the conference with 5 - 7 papers is reserved for young economists and PhD Students.
The organizers are seeking to bring together international researchers, academics and central bankers interested and involved in the field of international financial architecture. The aim of the conference is to cover a broad range of related topics, both theoretical and empirical.
The organizers are inviting papers on a range of topics, including (other related areas may also be considered):
- The future of international capital markets
- International regulation of financial markets
- The new role for monetary and fiscal policy
- Financial development and economic performance
- The European retail market for financial services

All papers presented at the main conference will be published in a special issue of the scientifical periodical Kredit und Kapital.
Academic presenters' and discussants' expenses for travel (economy class round-trip) and accommodation for up to 5 days can be covered.
