The IMS Unison Univeristy (IUU) is kindly inviting you to participate in a Seminar on “Innovation in ICT: Implications for Business Organisations” which will be held July 19 – 20, 2013 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
The role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has been growing very rapidly. Information and Communication Technologies are one of the basic priorities of Research and Development (R&D) in the information society. In recent years, impact of ICT on business and economic environment have been widely addressed by policy makers, technology developers, and business societies. The challenge of adapting ICT include sustaining current operations, overcoming incumbency, market dynamics, risk management and funding transition. Studies of the socio-economic impact of ICT cover a wide spectrum of questions.
ICT has changed and will further transform not only the nature of work and communications, but also the ways of organizing the enterprise wide business activities. It is expected that ICT will eliminate the existing limits between economic relations and interaction, and will create new ways of communication, new types of market relations and will provide new opportunities to mobilize activities and expand spaces of interaction.
In order to evaluate the impact of ICT on business, it is necessary to consider internal and external success factors.
