    Jozef IJsewijn Prize

Prof. Dr. Jozef IJsewijn (1932−1998) was the inspiration behind the International Association for Neo-Latin Studies. The Association is offering a reward for the best book published in the interval between conferences as a way to honour the late Professor IJsewijn and as a stimulus for young scholars to engage in Neo-Latin research. Scholars who have come out with their first published book in the field are invited to submit this work to the Chair of the Advisory Board of the IANLS. The book has to be written in one of the official languages of the IANLS. The winner’s name will be announced at the opening of the 2015 conference, and he/she will achieve life-long membership of the Association.
