The Faculty of Economics at University of Cambridge and the members of the research group on Cross-sectional Dependence in Panel Data Models (CSDPDM) are happy to announce "A Conference on Cross-sectional Dependence in Panel Data Models", to be held at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, on May 30th and 31st, 2013.
Conference Aims and Topics
The aim of the conference is to bring together economists, econometricians, statisticians and social scientists who are interested in or are working on panel data issues. The program will consist of invited and contributed papers that cover a number of areas in panel data econometrics:
- Panel cross dependence
- Spatial econometrics
- Short-T panels
Course on Panel Data Models
The conference will be preceded by a one-day "Course on Panel Data Models" on May 29th 2013, at the Faculty of Economics, University of Cambridge. The event is intended towards postgraduate students who would like to update and enhance their research skills on panel data analysis. The event will include a series of technical presentations and product demonstrations that will provide attendees with new knowledge and skills that they can start applying immediately. The course is free of charge.
A few travel and accommodation grants covering the travel and local expenses for young scholars and speakers will be available (more details will be provided soon).
