8th Euro-Mediterranean Symposium on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (EMSLIBS) 2015 Linz

  • Conference Call
  • The eighth Euro-Mediterranean Symposium on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy will be held in Linz, Austria on September 14 – 18, 2015. The EMSLIBS 2015 symposium will host the worldwide community active in the scientific research, technology, and applications of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy and related technologies.

The conference is organized at the Johannes Kepler Universität (JKU) Linz by the Institute of Applied Physics of JKU Linz with support by the Department of Physical Chemistry of the University of Vienna and the Department of Chemistry of the Masaryk University Brno.

In agreement with the previous EMSLIBS conferences in Bari (2013), Izmir (2011), Rome (2009), Paris (2007), Aachen (2005), Heraklion (2003), and Cairo (2001) the newest scientific results, methodological and technological advancements, and the most relevant applications of LIBS will be presented and discussed at the 2015 meeting in Linz. Throughout the conference social events will be organized in order to promote informal discussions between the participants. A Young Scientist award will be presented to the best poster contributed by students or young researchers.

Selected contributions presented at the symposium and accepted after peer-review will be published in Spectrochimica Acta Part B.
