51st Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) 2018

  • HICSS – The Hawaii Inter­na­tional Con­fer­ence on Sys­tem Sci­ences – has been known world­wide as one of the longest stand­ing sci­en­tific com­mu­ni­ties in the infor­ma­tion sys­tems and tech­nol­ogy fields. Since 1968, it has become a respected des­ti­na­tion that attracts high-​caliber schol­ars and pro­fes­sion­als in acad­e­mia, indus­try and gov­ern­ment agen­cies around the world to dis­cuss their cutting-​edge research.

    We are announc­ing the 51st HICSS 2018 to com­mence on Jan­u­ary 36, 2017 in Hawaii, Big Island at Hilton Waikoloa Vil­lage organ­ised by the Depart­ment of IT Man­age­ment, Shi­dler Col­lege of Busi­ness at Uni­ver­sity of Hawaii at Manoa.

    Through­out its 50 years of research co-​creation, HICSS authors have gen­er­ated a sus­tained stream of inno­v­a­tive research ideas with 19,000+ pub­li­ca­tions, and many of them have resulted in sem­i­nal work. Over­all accep­tance rate for HICSS-​50 was 47%. The 2016 impact fac­tor was 2.4.
