The Asian Business and Management Conference offers the occasion for wide-ranging, interdisciplinary discussion covering both policy and research in Asia, and beyond. ABMC 2013 will again bring together experts and leaders from the academic and business world to consider some of the pressing issues scholars and academics are facing in an open forum; seeking to define questions, pursue answers, search for research synergies and more; to both reflect on the recent past, and look forward, to exchange ideas and findings, in the exciting environment of Osaka, Japan.
ABMC/ACPEL Keynote Speaker
Professor Yozo Yokota is an internationally renowned jurist and diplomat, who hasextensively advised the United Nations, most notably as their special rapporteur on Myanmar. He is currently President of the Japanese Center for Human Rights.
ABMC 2013 encourages submissions within and across a variety of disciplines and fields related to Business, Management and Economics. The following conference theme, and sub-themes have been suggested by the programme advisers for your consideration, but submissions addressing other themes are also welcome.

Authors are asked to classify under the appropriate JEL code.
Authors of accepted abstracts will have the opportunity of publishing their associated paper in the official conference proceedings, and a selection of papers will be considered for inclusion in the internationally reviewed IAFOR Journal of Business and Management.

ACPEL 2013 Sister Conference
ABMC 2013 will be held alongside the First Asian Conference on Politics, Economics and Law (ACPEL 2013), and registrants for either conference will be given the opportunity to attend sessions in the parallel event at no extra charge.
