44th International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC) 2016 San Francisco

  • Conference Call
  • Welcome to 44th International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC) 2016! This Symposium will be held on June 1924, 2016 in the newly renovated Marriott Marquis in San Francisco, California, USA. Our beautiful host city is an exciting high-tech hub that is also home to world-class sights, cuisine, sports, and culture.

    The goal of HPLC 2016 is to bring together scientists who use and develop HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, supercritical fluidic chromatography, microfluidics, and mass spectrometry to exchange ideas, best practices, and latest developments. The conference program is guided by emerging trends in separations technology and their impact on science and society.

    HPLC 2016 will provide researchers with:

    • practical information that improves productivity;
    • a showcase of the latest innovative commercial offerings in the field through a vendor exhibit, vendor seminars, and user sessions;
    • an extensive technical program to present, discuss and learn about recent developments, cutting-edge research, and new applications in separation science;
    • an educational program with tutorials and workshops for those new to using HPLC and related techniques;
    • a social program for informal discussion and learning.

    Conference Topics

    The HPLC 2016 San Francisco Symposium strives to provide the participants with a stage to present and discuss the very latest scientific and technological advances in liquid-phase separations, with an exposure to the latest chromatography products available on the market, and with opportunities for training and continuing education.

    Researchers with new results in areas relevant to the meeting are encouraged to submit up to a 400-word abstract online for lecture or poster consideration. We are striving to ensure the broadest possible coverage and exchange of recent advances.

    Awards

    Uwe D. Neue Award

    The Uwe D. Neue Award was created to recognize scientists that have made and continue to make significant contributions to the field of separation science, in honor of the legacy of Dr. Uwe D. Neue, late scientist and Waters® Corporate Fellow. The award will be given at the 44th International Symposium on High-Performance-Liquid-Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2016) held in June 2016 in San Francisco, CA, USA.

    Georges Guiochon Faculty Fellowship

    The purpose of the Fellowship is to honor the memory of Georges Guiochon and recognize his major contributions to HPLC, including his interest in fostering the careers of young people in separations science. The Fellow will be selected annually and will receive a $15,000 USD research grant and a commemorative plaque. The inaugural Fellow will be expected to present specially dedicated lectures at the HPLC 2016 symposium in San Francisco and at the HPLC 2017 symposium in Prague, for which travel support will be provided.
