  • ComtecMed Med­ical Con­gresses are proud to announce that the 3rd China Con­gress on Con­tro­ver­sies to Con­sen­sus in Dia­betes, Obe­sity and Hyper­ten­sion (CODHy) will take place in Shang­hai, China on May 1921, 2016 at the Kerry Hotel Pudong.

    About the Congress

    The suc­cess of the 1st and 2nd China CODHy Con­gress which took place in Shang­hai, China in 2012 and 2013, high­lighted the impor­tance of hold­ing the China CODHy Con­gress in order to con­tinue to exam­ine and debate the spe­cific issues China faces in deal­ing with Dia­betes, Obe­sity and Hyper­ten­sion and the var­i­ous meth­ods which Chi­nese Clin­i­cians and researchers have cre­ated in order to tackle these challenges.

    The 3rd China CODHy Con­gress will empha­size issues related specif­i­cally to China in terms of epi­demi­ol­ogy, genet­ics, diag­nos­tics, typ­i­cal com­pli­ca­tions and dis­tinc­tive responses to treat­ments. The sci­en­tific pro­gram will also explore the unique treatment/​management of dia­betes, obe­sity and hyper­ten­sion specif­i­cally in China, in com­par­i­son to the rest of the Asia Pacific region.

    The sci­en­tific pro­gram will include the most dynamic and con­tro­ver­sial top­ics fac­ing Chi­nese and inter­na­tional clin­i­cians in the fields of Dia­betes, Obe­sity and Hyper­ten­sion in an excit­ing debate forum.

    Allow­ing ample time for speaker-​audience dis­cus­sion, the Con­gress aims at reach­ing up-​to-​date and agreed-​upon answers to ongo­ing debates even when data remains lim­ited, through evidence-​based med­i­cine and expert opin­ion. Par­tic­i­pants will have the oppor­tu­nity to take part in this vibrant meet­ing which will facil­i­tate dis­cus­sions on the shared expe­ri­ences and opin­ions of lead­ing local and inter­na­tional experts.
