Tutorial for PhD students
In conjunction with the 2014 Finance Conference, we will organize a Tutorial for PhD students.
The Doctoral Tutorial will be chaired by: Professor Philip Molyneux – The College of Business, Law, Education and Social Sciences at Bangor University, UK
We invite PhD students to submit their theoretical and empirical researches in all area of finance. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. All works accepted for presentation at this Tutorial are eligible for the TSFS Best Research Proposal Award. IJMEF Special Issue
Authors of selected papers will be invited to extend their papers for publication in a Special Issue on: “Risk management and financial markets” of International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance. The special issue features theoretical and empirical research related to all the major fields of risk management and will be published under the guest editorship of Slaheddine Hellara – University of Tunis, Tunisia and Jimmy Skoglund – SAS Institute Inc., North Carolina, USA.
The program includes traditional research paper presentations, whose purpose is to present new research. Please do not submit a paper that has been accepted for a publication in a journal or is close to being accepted.
Criteria used to select papers for the program include the nature of the research problem, implications of the proposed research, the quality of the research design, and the expected contribution of the research to the literature.
