2nd International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism Management (ICOHT) 2014 Colombo

  • Conference Call
  • “Finding practical and innovative solutions for challenges in tourism“

Tourism is not only a global industry, but also a powerful movement that has influenced the human kind in an unprecedented manner since mid-twentieth century. With its ever-increasing global popularity and rapid growth comes a series of increasingly complex challenges. Identifying, understanding and reacting promptly to tourism trends is essential for all stakeholders involved in hospitality and tourism. It is vital that industry leaders and researchers work together in seeking practical and innovative solutions for challenges in hospitality and tourism. Therefore, papers written jointly by industry leaders and academics are preferred for this conference.

The first International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism Management (ICOHT 2013) was a great success. Encouraged with positive outcomes of ICOHT 2013, the organizers have decided to make ICOHT an annual conference. They aim to make this annual event a premier forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of hospitality and tourism management. The conference will bring together tourism and hospitality industry leaders, educators, researchers and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world. Both ground-breaking research papers and evidence-based case studies are sought. This year’s event will take place on October 7 – 8, 2014 in Colombo, Sri Lanka at the Galadari Hotel.
