2nd Asia-Australia Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology (COPHy AA) 2016 Bangkok

  • Conference Call
  • ComtecMed Medical Congresses is excited and proud to announce that the 2nd Asia — Australia Congress on Controversies Ophthalmology (COPHy AA) will take place in Bangkok, Thailand at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok on February 18 – 21, 2016.

The great success of the previous COPHy Congresses held in various countries in Europe paved the way for the first locally orientated COPHy Congress – called COPHy AA – which took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Inaugural COPHy AA Congress in Vietnam was well attended with just over 350 attendees who participated in a program focusing on the main fields of Anterior Segment, Glaucoma, Retina and Neuro-ophthalmology.

Academically, the COPHy AA will raise the most dynamic and controversial topics facing clinicians in the field of Ophthalmology. The Congress will promote excellence in this field by seeking to shed light on ongoing and challenging debates and to bridge gaps between the expansion of information and its consolidation in clinical practice.

Allowing ample time for speaker-audience discussion, the Congress aims at reaching up-to-date and agreed-upon answers to ongoing debates even when data remains limited, through evidence-based medicine and expert opinion. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in this vibrant meeting which will facilitate discussions on the shared experiences and opinions of leading local and international experts.

The 2nd COPHy AA will emphasize issues related to the region in terms of Retina, Anterior Segment, Glaucoma sections, diagnostics, typical complications and distinctive responses to treatments.

Many of the Faculty members will be local in order to facilitate the involvement of a large number of participants in the debates and to discuss typical regional problems.
