  • The Annual Inter­na­tional Con­fer­ence on Urban Plan­ning and Prop­erty Devel­op­ment (UPPD) serves as a plat­form for aca­d­e­mics, researchers, sci­en­tists, con­sul­tants and pol­icy mak­ers to inter­act and dis­cuss how to improve urban plan­ning and prop­erty devel­op­ment in order to enhance the lifestyle of the com­mu­nity. The con­fer­ence will pro­vide an oppor­tu­nity for the par­tic­i­pants to exchange novel ideas and new research devel­op­ment infor­ma­tion in the field of urban plan­ning, urban design, real estate and prop­erty devel­op­ment. To share expe­ri­ences and explore sci­ence, meth­ods, tools, analy­sis as applied to these studies.

    The 2nd UPPD 2016 will be held on Octo­ber 1011, 2016 in Sin­ga­pore at the Fort Can­ning Hotel and is organ­ised by the Global Sci­ence and Tech­nol­ogy Forum (GSTF).

    Con­fer­ence Highlights

    • Pub­li­ca­tions: All accepted papers and pre­sented papers at the con­fer­ence (UPPD 2016) will be pub­lished either in the Journals
      • GSTF Jour­nal of Engi­neer­ing Tech­nol­ogy (JET) (Print ISSN: 22513701, E-​periodical: 2251-​371X). All sub­mit­ted papers will go through blind review process for accep­tance. GSTF JET is hosted and pub­lished on Springer’s Open Access pub­lish­ing plat­form – Global Sci­ence Jour­nals (GSJ). In addi­tion, it will be indexed by EBSCO, Cross­Ref, Pro­Quest, Ulrich­sweb, Cabell’s Direc­to­ries and will be sub­mit­ted to Google Scholar, Index­Coper­ni­cus, Sci­enceDi­rect, amongst others.
      • The Con­fer­ence Pro­ceed­ings will be indexed by Ulrich­sweb, EBSCO, Cross­Ref, Pro­Quest, and will be sub­mit­ted to Sci­enceDi­rect and Sco­pus amongst oth­ers, where applicable.
    • Best Paper Awards and Best Stu­dent Paper Awards will be con­ferred at the con­fer­ence (in order to qual­ify for the award, the paper must be pre­sented at the conference).
    • Panel Pro­pos­als are invited for sub­mis­sion. A min­i­mum of three papers cen­ter­ing on a spe­cific topic will be accepted for sub­mis­sion under Panel Category.
