The event is co-​located with our 5th Annual Dis­cov­ery Chem­istry and Drug Design Con­gress and our inau­gural Micro­biome Dis­cov­ery and Devel­op­ment Con­gress.

    Con­fer­ence Topics

    This sum­mit brings together the key opin­ion lead­ers and senior indus­try experts in drug dis­cov­ery, to dis­cuss the lat­est inno­v­a­tive dis­cov­ery strate­gies in dif­fer­ent ther­a­peu­tic areas as well as the most effec­tive enabling tech­nolo­gies and solutions.

    This year, we bring to you a fresh approach in our pro­gramme, focus­ing on the lat­est trends, updates and modal­i­ties in small and large mol­e­cule drug dis­cov­ery. There are two designed streams organ­ised around key pre­sen­ta­tions in val­i­dat­ing novel drug tar­gets and improv­ing lead opti­mi­sa­tion in dif­fer­ent ther­a­peu­tic areas; includ­ing Immuno-​Therapy, Autoim­mune, Oncol­ogy, Inflam­ma­tory, Car­dio­vas­cu­lar and Meta­bolic Dis­eases. The other new streams will address the most inno­v­a­tive assay devel­op­ment and screen­ing par­a­digms. Approaches in screen­ing includ­ing Phe­no­typic screen­ing, target-​based as well as RNAi screen­ing meth­ods will be cov­ered. The pro­gramme also brings the top open inno­va­tion com­pa­nies together, and dis­cus­sions on how best to approach effec­tive part­ner­ships and col­lab­o­ra­tions will take place over the 2 days.

    Our co-​located 5th Dis­cov­ery Chem­istry & Drug Design Con­gress pro­vides an unprece­dented oppor­tu­nity to gain insights from key pre­sen­ters of the com­pu­ta­tional chem­istry, dis­cov­ery chem­istry and med­i­c­i­nal field. Fea­tur­ing two dis­cov­ery chem­istry and drug design streams, the con­gress pro­gramme con­sists of mod­ern med­i­c­i­nal chem­istry strate­gies, com­pu­ta­tional chem­istry, PRO­TAC, automa­tion, enabling tech­nolo­gies and data inte­gra­tion and analy­sis. The con­gress also focused on new and novel approaches to drug design includ­ing pep­tide dis­cov­ery and devel­op­ment, inhibitors dis­cov­ery strate­gies in med­i­c­i­nal chem­istry, tar­geted cova­lent inhibitors (TCIs), FEP in structure-​based dis­cov­ery, pep­tide dis­cov­ery and chem­i­cal biology.
