    The pharmaceutical IT industry is experiencing a continuous pressure to keep pace with the technological innovations and advances in translational informatics. Owing to the developments in data analysis, Big Data and cloud computing solutions, the industry is accelerating at a substantial rate. As a result of this growth, pharmaceutical companies are compelled to invest more in IT systems to stay at the forefront of the industry. Furthermore, analysts have highlighted that the information technology spending of the global life sciences industry will reach $40.8 billion by 2017.

    On day one our highly acknowledged speakers will focus on Big Data challenges and translational informatics. Presentations will cover such key areas as evaluating cloud computing solutions and building IT infrastructure for Big Data as well as examining the landscape of open source tools. Our esteemed speaker panel will also address supporting collaborations to enhance research, EHR privacy and data governance issues and integrating data across research.

    On day two delegates will have the opportunity to hear advancements in data management and IT solutions.
